Crystal Castles III
Riddled with chaotic and lo-fi melancholic homemade sounds, Crystal Castles return with their third album, III.
The experimental electronic duo Crystal Castles are set to release their latest offering, which sees the band return to traditional production methods.
Trading any keyboards and pedals used on previous albums, the duo have been in search for a new palette of sound. The band have used no computers during their time in the studio with every aspect of what they produced being recorded on tape, limiting themselves to recording songs on the first take.
Award winning Spanish photographer Samuel Aranda’s work features as the album cover image, which captures a women and her son during a street demonstration in Yemen, showing their reaction after being exposed to tear gas.
Crystal Castles ‘III’ will be released worldwide on Monday 12 November 2012.
