Clemens en August Tour 2011
Clemens en August have brought their SS11 collection to Berlin for three days only.
The Clemens en August collections are manufactured by a team of in-house tailors, designers and pattern cutters from the small town of Dürnbach in Austria. Each collection pairs minimalist chic with maximum style that translate effortlessly from day to night. The softest Mongolian cashmeres and rare Japanese jerseys all make the Clemens en August brand truly stand out from the fashion pack.
In the 19th century the two brothers Clemens and August sold high quality fabrics directly to the wealthy farmers in the north of the Netherlands. Now, 160 years later, designer Alexander Brenninkmeijer bypasses the traditional retailing by selling his men’s and women’s collections at contemporary art centers and museums.
The Berlin tour is currently being held at the Schinkel Pavillion, Oberwallstrasse 1, until Sunday 23 October 2011.
