P.A.M. x Crumpler

Drawing on P.A.M.’s off-beat approach to design and Crumpler’s ongoing exploration of utility and function, a new collection of P.A.M. x Crumpler bags has been released.

At its core, the collection is about self-exploration and being at one with nature. A campaign video emphasises this concept featuring a lone man exploring a natural environment, dressed only in a backpack and beanie. Like the collection, a spirit of adventure, exploration and freedom also inspired the video.

The process to create the unique boulder shaped bags was based on a search to make a purely organic form. “I sculpted shapes to scale by hand; a process of folding, overlapping and cutting paper, then deconstructing and flattening the shapes and grading them to size,” says Adam Woods, Crumpler designer.

The collection comprises of the Boulder Backpack, Rock Waist Bag and Pebble Pouch. All items are offered in Navy, Green or the P.A.M boulder print and are available in Crumpler stores and online.
