Art Cologne 2014

One of the world’s oldest contemporary art fairs, Art Cologne, will return to the city of Cologne, Germany in 2014.

Established in 1967 Art Cologne can be attributed as the first art fair to provide an opportunity for commercial galleries to exhibit and sell contemporary art. Previous formats had relied on artists themselves to establish stands and present their own work.

The 2014 edition will see Art Cologne expand into the film for the first time with a section titled Film Cologne. The section is entirely dedicated to the theme of film art. Works of international artists can be viewed in a film bar in the entrance area of the fair set up especially for this purpose.

Art Cologne will take place from Thursday 10 – Sunday 13 April 2014 in Cologne, Germany.
