Theo Parrish fuses funk, jazz and soul seamlessly into his new album American Intelligence.
The album is the first from Parrish in the last seven years and features a total of nine tracks on the 3 Long Play (LP) vinyl record for the long awaited record. Each track from Parrish, who collaborated with the likes of Marcellus Pittman, Iddeyah, Duminie Deporres and others, exudes a level of music that brings you from a high to a low point in the matter of one musical note.
From the soulful jazzy overtures, to the soft but delicate deep moments, which come along with the electronic production of the music by Parrish, his new album has a sound that is both futuristic and grounded in the past.
