On our playlist this week is a rendition to an old music classic from UK based DJ Sam Redmore.
First released in 1978, the Bob Marley classic Is This Love has since gone on to feature in covers across a number of music genres.
Sam Redmore’s cover retains the powerful lyrics that resonated not only in the past, but highlights how they are still applicable today. The track has been revived and without tarnishing the strength of the original version, Redmore’s release is a flawless rendition to an old classic. The use of trumpets and melodies results in an uplifting version of Marley’s iconic track.
