V!TOR’s SS13 collection, REBORN, is a visual exploration of the auto-biographical cycle and injects a new life into the brand.
V!TOR started their fascination with the auto-biographical cycle with RROM, a collection that revolved around existential and deeply personal themes. The next collection, titled Life and Death celebrated the death of the old V!TOR.
With REBORN comes a shift for V!TOR, away from the biographical, to a focus on collaborations with creatives from areas outside of fashion. Visual artist Luisa Cativo has joined the team as artistic director.
Bold digital prints and crochet details form the basis of the collection. All of the pieces in REBORN are created to be unisex which has been achieved in an understated yet innovative way.
There’s also a subliminal social message; within the collection encouraging people to take risks, be creative and resourceful, never let go of hope and fantasy despite the challenging social scenario at present.
V!TOR is based in Portugal and was formed by Vitor Bastos, in 2010.
