Thakoon AW14

Thakoon Panichgul presented his AW14 collection at New York Fashion Week, bringing diversity to the runway.

Garment styles were interchanged between a variety of looks, highlighting Panichgul’s creative diversity and broad influences.

The prominence of layering with the collection allowed the garments to come together and encourage the wearer to ‘mix and match’. Prints were both clashing and complimentary, with various florals worn against one another. There was structure along with a feminine touch that brought a ‘beautiful’ feeling to the collection.

The prominent floral pattern was carried across to the runway, where a vibrant wallpaper strip was applied angled to the wall and extended to the floor.

Thakoon Panichgul was born in Thailand and is based in New York. Thakoon was launched with a capsule collection in 2004.
