Burberry Prorsum SS14 Pre-Collection
Iconic British brand Burberry have released their Prorsum SS14 Pre-Collection.
Many pieces within the collection boast key detail including scattered gem brooches, crystal embroidery, hand-sewn metallic sequins and asymmetric cut-outs.
Single-breasted coats make a prominent appearance in the collection, with the embellishments gracing the collars and breast lapels – adding a personal element of elegance to the collection. The garments are designed to be free flowing yet flattering to the body.
Fabrics used in the collection include a natural array of cottons, canvas as well as organza lace and silk. Traditional craft techniques, such as British lace and cotton macramé, are applied boldly removing any associations the fabrics have with delicacy. A flood of pale colours, whites and iconic caramel shades also feature.
Burberry’s iconic structure trenches and British style remains, forming part of a pre-collection infused with design freedom and elegance.
