Fred Perry and Bradley Wiggins
Fred Perry has continued their successful collaboration Bradley Wiggins, one of Britain’s most successful sportsmen of all time, releasing an AW13 capsule collection.
The AW13 collection embodies typical British style and design of the 1960s, while incorporating subtle design references to professional cycling attire. Shirts are adorned with zip necks and rear pockets, while shirts are evocative of riding jerseys.
Not limited to clothing, the AW13 collection also features shoes and cyclists bags. The heritage inspired sports shoes are created from leather and contain intricate details seen in early cycling shoes. The vintage shades of red, blue and white are used throughout the collection in reference to the British flag.
The collection is available exclusively in En Selle Marcel’s Paris, France from August 2013
