Chanel returns to Saint-Tropez
For the fourth consecutive year, Chanel has taken up its summer residence in Saint-Tropez, France.
La Mistralée Hotel is once again hosting the ephemeral boutique of the Fashion House. The Saint-Tropez space is devoted to the SS13 collections as well as the 2012/13 Paris-Edimbourg Metiers d’art collection.
The pieces in the SS13 collection are elegantly suspended from the framework – the only furnishing in the building – and appear to float within this purified space. A single glass showcase is host to the new Première watch.
Playing with linear geometry, this season’s space is structured around a raw Sipo wood framework and features a transparent glass ceiling which infuses the space with natural luminosity. Giant wooden parasols are also hung with clothes and accessories from the collections.
The La Mistralée Hotel Chanel Ephemeral Boutique will be in Saint-Tropez, France until Sunday 6 October 2013.
