TAP, the first collection from Dessein Furniture, embraces the vibrant and dynamic culture of Australia.
Dessein Furniture engaged celebrated craftsman and designer Jon Goulder, internationally acclaimed furniture designer Adam Goodrum, and Melbourne-based industrial designer Justin Hutchinson, to conceive a range of furniture items that are distinctive, versatile, and enduring in style.
The TAP range demonstrates a material awareness by utilising Rubberwood, one of the most ecologically sound lumbers used in furniture manufacturing. Another prominent feature of the collection is its versatility, with pieces such as the ‘Spool Stools’ also forming the foundation of the ‘Plank’ bench seat. The range is available in a variety of finishes.
Dessein Furniture was founded in 2012 by Michele Chow, an interior architect by trade, Chow spent time working at award-winning practices in London before deciding to launch her vision in Australia.
Dessein’s first collection TAP will launch this month.
