Luxury in Venice

As the Biennale continues to inspire the world to travel to Venice we touch on the city’s luxury hotels.

Venice holds a number of destinations that celebrate the rich history of the city and provide guests with an opportunity to truly experience Venice in opulent style. Guests are also able to view original architecture and art from the 17th and 18th century that is featured within many of the hotels.

See below for our picks.

– Bauer Il Palazzo: Build into the same building as Bauer L’Hotel, Il Palazzo offers guests with an opportunity to experience the Venezian style of palazzo living. This boutique hotel holds the highest terrace in Venice, allowing guests to view a complete panorama of the lagoon.

– Luna Hotel Baglioni: Once functioning as an aristocractic Venetian palace, the hotel allows guests to enjoy some of the lavishness of the past. Original frescoes created by pupils of Tiepol adorn the Salone Marco Polo restaurant.

– The Danieli: The architecture of the Danieli still holds aspects of the original design that dates back to the late 14th century, the. The Danieli underwent a redesign in 2008 by renowned French architect Jacques Garcia.
