I had a desire to create a medium that was informative, global, and meaningful, bringing together art, fashion, architecture, history, innovation and writing, unifying the creative community.
fluoro’s distinct collection presented here at fluorodigital.com is the outcome and I am delighted to welcome you to the next generation fluoro. Today marks the relaunch presenting a collection of themes in this format for the very first time – a significant evolution of the brand since it was established in 2010 as a print magazine.
Never-seen-before-online fluoroOriginal works feature throughout along with exclusive interviews, stories, images intended to encourage a deeper thought.
I’d like to acknowledge some key people who have been instrumental in the evolution of fluoro. Audrey, fluoro’s associate editor who has stood alongside me since 2010 immersed in a vision that would see fluoro evolve into a tool that will allow respectful preview of these ideas we present. I feel extremely fortunate to have her lead the editorial team here in Australia and South America. Miguel who’s creative direction guides the aesthetic of fluoro, and John, Ben, Tom and Lauren who’s commitment and knowledge has helped shape the brand.
fluoro will continue to be updated daily. In the making is a print publication we have titled fluoroCollection for release November 2014 which is a carefully curated collection of works which we feel deserve to be immortalised in print. It’ll be purely visual and will allow us the opportunity to be experimental with layouts and push the boundaries of print. We’ll start taking orders in the new year.
