Wanted: Camélia Galbé
Photography is used to bring an added sense of danger and edge to the latest fine jewellery collection in our sights: Camélia Galbé.
The campaign series, themed ‘Wanted’ generates a strong narrative for the collection, highlighting a bold side to the fine jewellery. Keys pieces are placed against a police line-up, while a reference to a ‘mug shot’ is implied as a model’s hands hold a placard with Camélia Galbé inscribed. The images have been shot in black and white, a design aspect that has been carried across from the jewellery.
The collection features diamonds set in black or white ceramic, mounted on a base of white gold. Chosen for its smooth texture, the ceramic emphasises the curves of the Camélia flower – the central motif of the collection.
The Camélia Galbé collection, by Chanel is to be released in March 2014.
