Airbnb: Dublin
The design of Airbnb’s new office in Dublin, Ireland, reflects the diverse Airbnb spaces from around the globe.
Designed by local Dublin architects Heneghan Peng, the brief was to create a series of open, creative and collaborative spaces that reflect the Airbnb ethos and culture. The result is an eclectic mix of distinct interior spaces, with each separate room reflecting a unique city. References to Dublin itself are also included, with the reception area modelled on an Irish pub with a horseshoe bar and Irish telephone boxes forming spaces for private phone calls. The architects followed the same format as the brand’s San Francisco office where they were encouraged to take elements from some of the most interesting spaces seen on Airbnb.
Airbnb provides a platform for people around the world to rent their unused apartments, houses or rooms to travellers providing them with the option to stay in a unique range of spaces.
