Mr Penfold: Blurring the Divide

fluoro spoke with UK-based artist Mr Penfold about his practice and unique style of seamless image making. The full-interview will be made exclusively available to fluoroNotice subscribers on Tuesday 13 May 2014.

Mr Penfold has long been fascinated with the concept of crafting seamless imagery, working primarily with painting and screenprinting. Over time he has developed a style of signature characters, which form the basis of many of his works. Mr Penfold is inspired by technique rather than narrative and as a result of his seamless hand painting his illustrations are unclear whether they have been printed or painted.
