Gucci: Forever Now
For the first time in history, Gucci has taken their museum out of Italy with a temporary exhibition in the Brazilian city of São Paulo’s JK Iguatemi Mall. The exhibition is titled Forever Now.
Bringing together a selection of archival pieces on loan from the museum, the exhibition focuses on Gucci’s contribution to the jet-set lifestyle. A section of the exhibition will focus on Gucci’s contribution to travel in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s by displaying a selection of their trunks, suitcases and accessories. The exhibition intends to replicate the House’s, Italian based museum, which pays tribute to the heritage of Gucci while also looking to the future of the House.
Forever Now is on display until Sunday 22 June 2014 within the JK Iguatemi Mall, in São Paulo, Brazil.
