master-piece: 20th Anniversary Exhibition

To mark their 20th anniversary, Japanese brand master-piece celebrate their youthful heritage with an exhibition in the capital of the Republic of China, Taipei.

master-piece was founded by Taichi Fujimatsu and was born from a desire to develop a range of bags on a basis of functionality and utility in daily fashion and one that moved away from the formal style of men’s bags on offer in the early 1990s. Fusing elements of high-end design with street fashion, master-piece has formed and maintained a distinct style.

Production began in Osaka and has remained in the urban Japanese city ever since. A team of craftsmen create the bags, applying their high level of skill to each product.

The exhibition presents an array of styles and designs from the master-piece archive and is currently on display at Huashan Creative Park in Taipei, Republic of China.
