adidas Originals = PHARRELL WILLIAMS
adidas has revealed the first limited edition pieces from its collaboration with musician and creative force Pharrell Williams.
As part of the partnership, an official logo has been revealed that utilises the equal sign and adidas Originals Trefoil. The iconic three stripes have been transformed, with the first two formed by the bold equal sign and the third being the name of Pharrell Williams. The collection and its products revolve around William’s idea of equality.
The first set of products to come out of the partnership include William’s take on two classic styles: the Superstar track jacket and the pure Stan Smith shoe. The Superstar track jacket is presented with contrasting three-stripes, while the Stan Smith is available in three monochrome colours, blue, red and black.
The two products will be available at select sneaker boutiques, concept stores and adidas Originals flagship stores globally from Saturday 20 September 2014. Three more products packages are set to be released in October, November and December 2014.
