Brian Ellis: Reflection
DJ Brian Ellis has just released his debut EP titled Reflection, which features his unique style of electronic funk.
Ellis is based in California, USA and through utilising a drum synthesiser creates a sound that is raw and alive, through pairing guitars and synths with an array of effects. The selection of tracks on Reflection evoke the funk of past while also still being fitting with the electronic sound of the now. The release also includes a collaboration with American vocalist and producer Egyptian Lover, who features on the track Love is.
