Kendrick Lamar Releases I
Kendrick Lamar has released the first single from his anticipated sophomore album.
The release, titled I, is an upbeat track with the lyrics focused on spreading love and positivity. Produced by Rahki, Lamar’s track features samples from The Isley Brothers’ 1973 track, That Lady.
Lamar is from Compton, California and is also a part of hip hop group Black Hippy. The group is composed of Lamar, Ab-Soul, Jay Rock and Schoolboy Q. Lamar is expected to release his sophomore solo album before the end of 2014.
