Vertu: Aster
Bringing a new option to the luxury phone market, Vertu has announced the release of the Aster.
The Aster, like each device in the Vertu range, is handmade in England by a single craftsman. The Aster offers a contemporary version of some of the signature elements found in Vertu phones. A single 117 carat, 5.1” piece of 5th generation solid sapphire crystal protects Vertu Aster’s 4.7” HD display and 13mp camera lens from scratches. Vertu has been using sapphire for luxury mobile phones since the late 90s and has continuously developed the technology for this precision application.
A range of features from the Vertu team includes a free 6-month subscription to Vertu Classic Concierge, a service that provides the user with 24-hour access to assistance, including recommendations and travel bookings, no matter where in the world they may be.
The model is offered in a range of colours that include black, orange, blue and pink. The Aster is also made with a selection of leathers that range from traditional leathers such as calf to unique varieties of ostrich.
The Vertu Aster retails at AUD$7,000 and is available for purchase from exclusive stockists globally.
