WeSC x Stereo: New Collection
The release of this new collection may have been a long-time in the making, but it’s now finally here. Close friends WeSC and Stereo have gotten together for a first time collaboration.
The collaboration sets out to encapsulate a two-decade retrospective of Stereo’s existence, and the unique, artistic and edgy work of promoting the skater counter-culture it has pushed for in that time.
In the early 2000s, Stereo founders Chris Pastras and Jason Lee, both fell in love with the edgy, artistic and dynamically unique clothing of Sweden based WeSC and have since maintained it’s ties with the clothing company. When Pastras was first introduced to WeSC’s style of clothing, he immediately took to its European undertones and skater flare, and had to have it. Soon after, Lee, begun to wear the clothing, and both became the first international WeActivists.
Both brands utilised their creative and art driven philosophies to develop tees that feature photos of Lee and Pastras that were shot in the 90s by Tobin Yelland, and also uses artwork from Clint Peterson, who hails from Stillwater, Minnesota, and was the first rider for the newly formed Stereo in 2003.
The collection, pays homage to Stereo, but also celebrates the united friendship it has with WeSC and their promotion of the skater environment and the arts world.
The new collection is now available at www.shop.wesc.com.
