RS Barcelona: Now Available through AJAR
Melbourne-based curator and importer of Spanish furniture AJAR has teamed up with RS Barcelona as its exclusive agent to provide authentic furniture, lighting and homewares for residential and commercial spaces in Australia.
The addition of RS Barcelona to AJAR’s repertoire of contemporary Spanish brands, brings with it a range that extends from RS Barcelona’s foundation product, the colourful Foosball table, to the stylish portable BBQ’s and its upholstered furniture, seating, lighting, occasional furniture and shelving systems. RS Barcelona have a number of products that embody its diverse and playful style to contemporary Spanish brands, with an authentic feel and characteristically playful and energetic personality.
AJAR was founded in 2012 by directors Andrew Boddington, Richard Fanale and Josep Vallhonrat, who together have been able to develop robust relationships with designers behind the collection of 15 contemporary Spanish brands. The new set of products from RS Barcelona provides AJAR with another exclusive foothold on the blend of artistic furniture emerging from Barcelona, a city that has been cited as one of the main places for design in Europe. As it’s exclusive agent in Australia, AJAR will provide RS Barcelona products to Eastern, Central and Northern Australia.
RS Barcelona was originally founded as a metal workshop in 1975 in Barcelona and later evolved into a furniture company after the release of their first branded product the RS#2 Metal Foosball table.
