Street Art Exhibition in Shanghai: Look Through
As a part of capturing the evolutionary street art movement in the 21st century, Magda Danysz Gallery is hosting an exhibition titled Look Through, at Bund18 front store space in Shanghai.
The exhibition is showcasing work from a number of legends in the street art world, from different countries and different generations, capturing the essence of the unique artwork from the urban jungle.
Before the exhibition was open to the public, a dozen icons from the street art worlds of Paris, New York and San Francisco were given a residency at the Bund18 space and reunited on one stage at the invite of the Magda Danysz Gallery.
Legends in street art from Paris based FUTURA, to Swedish born Andre, are just some of the names who’s artistic styling took over Bund18’s front store and are now fixtures of the exhibition.
Prior to the exhibition being open to the public, viewers were given a unique chance to peek into the minds of the artists as they conceptualised and brought life to the artwork, adding another layer to the exhibitions testament to the growing artistic street art movement.
The exhibition is running until Monday 1 December 2014 at Bund18, 1st Floor 18 Zhongshan East Road (E1), Shanghai, China.
