LEGO: Towers of Tomorrow
Iconic skyscrapers doting the skylines across Asia and Australia are the focus of the new LEGO® Towers of Tomorrow exhibition at the Museum of Sydney in Australia.
Presented by Sydney Living Museums, Towers of Tomorrow brings architecture and design to life in a creative and engaging way, by using Ryan McNaught, the Southern Hemisphere’s only certified LEGO ® professional, to construct LEGO ® skyscrapers up to 3-metres high.
McNaught constructed the LEGO® structures from architectural masterpieces ranging from Taiwan’s Taipei 101 to Kuala Lumpur’s twin Petronas Towers, all the way to Melbourne’s Eureka Tower.
Mark Goggin, Director of Sydney Living Museums says all who visit and witness the exhibition “will marvel at the stunning level of detail featured in each LEGO® structure, which are just as extraordinary as the real-life versions.” Visitors will also be able to get their hands on 200,000 lose LEGO® bricks and make their own ‘towers of tomorrow’, in a hands-on section that will allow the imagination to run wild.
Towers of Tomorrow opens today and closes on Sunday 19 April 2015.
