LADFEST 2015: Opening
Latin American Design Festival (LADFEST), a graphic design event that will gather more than 700 participants from around the world, is the first of its kind to be held in Lima, Peru.
Founded by Latin American Design, LADFEST 2015 aims to promote Latin American design and create awareness about the social significance of design. The festival aims to create a platform that will unite creatives and design enthusiats in creative cultural community.
Specialising in branding, packaging, typography, lettering, graphics, narrative and illustration, participants to the LADFEST include Jessica Walsh, art director and partner at NYC based design firm Sagmeister & Walsh and Amadeo Gonzales, a Peruvian illustrator, graphic designer and cartoonist. LADFEST will also feature representatives from Anagrama, a Mexican-based international firm specialising in strategic branding; Siegenthaler & Co. a graphic design company from Colombia; and Project Pietà, an alternative fashion project that has been created in Latin American prisons.
LADFEST 2015 will place over two days, commencing on Thursday 12 February 2015 in Lima, Peru.
