Paris Fashion Week Ready to Wear AW15/16
Paris Fashion Week is here to showcase Ready to Wear AW15/16 collections. As we offer our picks from the season and wait in anticipation for it to commence, we reflect on last year’s key fashion presentations.
Looking back to the AW14/15 season we saw a season, which demonstrated that even daily activities can be transformed into a display of chic fashion. Designers presented innovative collections centred on looks of women dashing around the city, shopping, and even visiting supermarkets. Relaxed, comfortable styles dominated the collections that varied in terms of their interpretation of daily city wear style. Paris Fashion Week AW14/15 included some retro inspired styles from Valentino, Gosia Baczyńska and Louis Vuitton, some futuristic looks from Rick Owens, and some fairy-tale inspired red from Saint Laurent.
With an entertaining season preceding, and the consistent theme in mind from Milan Fashion Week Women’s Ready to Wear AW15/16, which has concluded, we look forward to seeing what’s in store for this season’s fashion week in Paris. Our picks for the season include:
