Chanel: CHANCE EAU VIVE
Chanel reveals its new ad campaign for CHANCE EAU VIVE, the latest addition to the CHANCE fragrance line.
We take you behind the scenes to hear from Jean-Paul Goude, who has once again used his remarkable creativity and imagination to enrich the playful world of CHANCE with his touch of fantasy and talent for allegory.
Channeling his art through illustration, posters, photography, film, video and events for over forty years, there is no doubt Goude has impressed upon a generation’s imagination in every sense of the word. From the “minets” (the teenage fashion victims) of the 60s to the legendary Esquire Magazine issue in the decade that followed, from the multicultural New York of Warhol to his relationship as Pygmalion to Grace Jones, from the dazzling bicentennial parade in Paris to the celebration of “Beur Style*”, from Kodak and CHANEL campaigns to the adventures of Lætitia Casta, he has succeeded time and time again in capturing the spirit of the times and giving it concrete expression.
To celebrate the arrival of this new fragrance to the CHANCE family, Goude imagined the story of a bold and strongwilled young woman who want to be on the CHANCE girls’ team. Looking for fun, friendship and a good challenge, she has to prove that she too can take her chance and win. Watch the campaign and an interview with Goude opposite.
